Veterinary pathologists investigating the deaths of seals found washed up on the east coast of Scotland have launched a blog in an attempt to unravel the mystery.

Seal carcasses with corkscrew-type injuries have been found on the shorelines of St Andrews Bay and the Firth of Forth over the last couple of years.
